Your Obligations

Financial Obligations

As a Musi, you commit to contributing a portion of your income and property to the Wasiyyat fund. The minimum contribution is 1/10th of your income and 1/10th of your property, with higher rates encouraged based on your capacity and spiritual aspiration.

Spiritual Obligations

Wasiyyat is not merely a financial commitment — it is a pledge to lead a life of righteousness, piety, and devotion to the community. A Musi strives to excel in prayers, moral conduct, and service to humanity.

Schedule C Declaration

Every Musi is required to submit an annual Schedule C declaration reporting actual income and Hissa Amad payments for the fiscal year. This is separate from the Budget submitted at the beginning of the year.

What is Schedule C?

An annual declaration submitted after the fiscal year ends, reporting your actual net income and the Chanda paid. Failure to submit may lead to disciplinary measures including cancellation of Wasiyyat (Rule 69).

Schedule C vs Budget

The Budget is your projected income estimate for the upcoming year. Schedule C is your actual income report after the year ends. They are independent — one is forward-looking, the other is retrospective.
