پھر جماعت میں جیسا کہ مَیں نے کہا وصیت کا ایک نظام ہے۔ یہ وصیت کا چندہ ایک ایسا چندہ ہے جو نظام وصیت کے جاری ہونے کے ساتھ جاری ہوا۔ جیسا کہ سب جانتے ہیں کہ 1905ء میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے حکم پا کر حضرت مسیح موعود علیہ الصلوٰة والسلام نے اس کو جاری فرمایا اور اس نظام میں شامل ہونے والے ہر شخص کے لئے ضروری قرار دیا کہ وہ 1/10 سے لے کر 1/3 تک اپنی آمد اور جائیداد کی وصیت کر سکتا ہے اور وصیت کرنے کے بعد یہ عہد کرتا ہے کہ مَیں تا زندگی اپنی آمد کا 1/10 سے 1/3تک( جو بھی کوئی اپنے حالات کے مطابق خوشی سے شرح مقرر کرتا ہے) ادا کروں گا۔ اسی طرح اگر زندگی میں نہ ادا کیا گیا ہو تومرنے کے بعد بھی جائیداد میں سے اسی شرح کے اندر رہتے ہوئے جو پیش کی گئی ہو اپنے عہد کے مطابق اس کی ادائیگی کے لئے اپنے ورثاء کو کہہ کے جاتا ہے۔ اور ہر موصی سے یہی توقع رکھی جاتی ہے اور رکھی جانی چاہئے کہ وہ تقویٰ پر قائم رہتے ہوئے اپنی حقیقی آمد میں سے چندہ ادا کرے اور اس بارہ میں کسی قسم کا عذر نہ کرے اور عموماً موصی نہیں کرتے۔

پس ہر موصی کو خود بھی ہر وقت اپنا جائزہ لیتے رہنا چاہئے کہ کہیں تقویٰ سے ہٹ کرمَیں اپنی کسی آمد کو چاہے وہ معمولی ہی کیوں نہ ہو ظاہر نہ کرکے اللہ تعالیٰ سے کئے گئے عہد میں خیانت تو نہیں کر رہا؟ پس موصیان اور موصیات جماعت میں چندہ دینے والوں کا وہ گروہ ہے جس کے متعلق یہی خیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ تقویٰ کے اعلیٰ معیاروں کے حصول کی کوشش کرنے والے ہیں اور ہر لحاظ سے قربانیوں کے اعلیٰ معیار قائم کرنے والے ہیں جو اپنی آمد اور جائیداد کا ایک حصہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا کے حصول کے لئے اپنی خوشی سے پیش کرتے ہیں۔ نیز اپنے اعمال پر نظر رکھنے والے ہیں اور اس کے لئے کوشش کرنے والے ہیں۔ اپنی عبادتوں کے معیار بلند تر کرنے کی کوشش کرنے والے ہیں۔ اپنے اخلاق بہترین رنگ میں سنوارنے کی کوشش کرنے والے ہیں۔ حقیقی مومن بننے کی طرف ہر طرح سے کوشش کرتے ہوئے قدم بڑھانے والے ہیں۔ اللہ کرے کہ ہر موصی اسی جذبہ سے وصیت کرنے والا اور اس کو قائم رکھنے والا ہو۔

“Then, as I have said, there is the system of Wasiyyat in the Jama'at. The Chanda Wasiyyat is a contribution that came into being with the establishment of Nizam-e-Wasiyyat itself. As everyone knows, in 1905 the Promised Messiah (peace and blessings be upon him), having received a commandment from Allah the Exalted, instituted this system and made it binding upon everyone joining it that he may bequeath from 1/10 to 1/3 of his income and property. Having made the Wasiyyat, he pledges that "for the rest of my life I shall pay from 1/10 to 1/3 of my income" — whatever rate a person willingly fixes according to his own circumstances. Likewise, if it has not been paid during his lifetime, he leaves instructions for his heirs to pay it after his death out of his property, in accordance with his pledge and within the same rate that he had offered. And every Musi is expected — and ought to be expected — to remain firm upon Taqwa and to pay his Chanda out of his real income, offering no excuse of any kind in this regard; and generally Musis do not make excuses.

So every Musi should also continually examine himself: am I, departing from Taqwa, failing to declare some portion of my income — however small — and thereby breaking faith with the covenant I have made with Allah the Exalted? For the Musian and Musiat are that group of contributors in the Jama'at of whom it is understood that they are striving to attain the highest standards of Taqwa, and are establishing the highest standards of sacrifice in every respect — those who willingly offer a portion of their income and property to attain the pleasure of Allah the Exalted. They are, moreover, those who keep watch over their deeds and strive in that regard; who strive to raise the standard of their worship; who strive to adorn their morals in the finest manner; and who advance, striving in every way, towards becoming true believers. May Allah grant that every Musi be one who makes Wasiyyat with this very spirit and upholds it.”

"اس لئے میں موصیان کو نصیحت کرتا ہوں کہ ابھی وقت ہے زندگی میں خدا تعالیٰ سے اپنے معاملات درست کر لینے کا۔ اگر اس دور میں آپ نے اپنے معاملات درست نہ کئے یا بعض باتیں مخفی رکھیں اور کسی پہلو سے بھی تقویٰ کے معیار پر پورا نہ اترے تو یہ وہم و گمان دل سے نکال دیں کہ قیامت کے دن آپ اپنی کمزوریوں اور کوتاہیوں کے بدلے اس دنیا کی مالی قربانیاں پیش کریں گے۔ یہاں کھاتے میں جو کچھ مرضی لکھا ہوا ہو یہ دفتر وصیت کا کھاتہ وہاں منتقل نہیں ہوگا۔ وہاں تو کِرَامًا کَاتِبِیْنَ (الانفطار:۱۱) کے کھاتے اور ہیں۔ وہ جو خدا کے فرشتے کھاتے تیار کرتے ہیں ان کے لکھنے کا طرز بھی اور ہے ان کی Accountancy کا نظام بھی بالکل مختلف ہے۔ انہوں نے کوئی Charted Accountancy تو نہیں کی یہاں بیٹھ کر کہ وہ ظاہری طور پر اعداد و شمار کے پیچھے جائیں۔ انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے وہ گر سیکھے ہیں کہ کس کی قربانی کو جس کے پیچھے خاص روح تھی کتنا بڑھا کر لکھنا ہے اور کس کی قربانی کو کتنا کم دکھا کے لکھنا ہے یا بالکل صفحہ ہستی سے ملیامیٹ کر دینا ہے۔ تو خدا کی Accountancy کے حساب اور ہیں ان کو پیشِ نظر رکھ کر اپنے معاملات درست کریں۔ دنیا کی Accountancy کے دھوکہ میں مبتلا نہ رہیں۔"

“This is why I remind Musis that there is still time in your life—correct your relationship with God Almighty. If you do not set your matters right with Him now, if you conceal any shortcomings, or if you fail to uphold righteousness in any aspect, then remove from your hearts the notion that, on the Day of Judgment, you will be able to present your financial sacrifices as compensation for your weaknesses and mistakes.

No matter what is recorded here, the accounts of the Wasiyyat office will not be transferred there. The accounts of the “Honored Recorders” (Al-Infitar, v.11) are of a different nature. The angels’ records are not based on numbers and figures as in human chartered accountancy. Allah has granted them the ability to magnify a sacrifice made with pure intentions, or to diminish—or even erase—one lacking sincerity. The divine system of accountancy is entirely different. Keep this in mind when setting your affairs right with God Almighty, and do not be deceived by the accountancy of this world.”
